This whole album just fits so well, I think this is the album that the music people will like. Radio not so much.
Immortal - Northern Chaos Gods
Have to admit I love how raw this is, many bands when going back to a past sound can fuck it up badly but this is spot on.
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones - While We're At It
What a great album, need a good fun time album then here it is. This is up there with their best albums.
Mary Gauthier - Rifles and Rosary Beads
Just such an amazing album, written with the stories from ex service people. She worked with them at a charity that helps ex service people who have mental problems.
Belly - DOVE
This album is a real grower, took me a while but wow what an album. Three out of three for Belly. Looking forward to number four.
Kate Tucker - Practical Sadness
This is a nice bit of work, if you like Calvi you will like this. Great song writing and some real honest lyrics.
The Crown - Cobra Speed Venom
Title pretty much sells this one.
Judas Priest - Firepower
Great to have them back. With some youth in the line up and new ideas have come out. The production is spot on and the guitar work is better then ever.
Idles - Joy as an Act of Resistance
Stunning album, each and every listen makes you think;
and much like a good book or painting you go back to it all the time. I really need to see them live soon.
Massive Wagons - Full Nelson
What a fantastic rock album. Catchy as fuck and tons of guitar shapes.
CHVRCHES - Love Is Dead
Have to admit I was not a big fan before but this album got me hooked. It is just so catchy, I love the use of the lyrics on this album. A very punk feel to them mixed in with the catchy tunes makes it a win.
